Anchor Baptist Church
Privacy notice
Effective August 24, 2026
Information collected when you visit
The website records limited technical information about each page visit:
- the date and time, page address, and referring page;
- your Internet Protocol address, commonly called an IP address;
- your browser user-agent string and a device category such as mobile, tablet, or desktop;
- a device fingerprint calculated from browser and device characteristics; and
- an approximate city, region, and country that may be added after a manual online lookup of the IP address.
The device fingerprint is a technical identifier, not a physical fingerprint. It does not read your contacts or files and does not request GPS location. The location result is approximate and is not used to identify a person, household, street address, or precise position.
Why this information is used
The information is used to:
- count visits and understand which pages and device types were used;
- distinguish visits made by agency staff while reviewing the site from visits made by other people;
- evaluate interest in a demonstration for internal review; and
- protect the website, enforce request limits, and investigate technical problems.
It is not used for cross-site advertising or to build an identity for an unknown visitor.
Approximate IP location
No automatic IP-location service receives every visit. When reviewing a visit, authorized staff may make a manual online lookup of the IP address to estimate its general city, region, and country. The selected lookup provider receives that IP address and handles it under its own privacy terms. A location result is supporting traffic information, not proof of where a particular person lives or is present.
Forms and information you provide
If you submit a service or contact form, the information you enter is stored as a request and delivered to Anchor Baptist Church so it can respond. Do not submit sensitive information that is not needed to answer your request.
Cookies and embedded services
The site may use first-party cookies needed for security, a private-preview PIN, and classification of an agency staff visit. The visit-measurement system does not use advertising cookies. A map, video, payment page, or other explicitly embedded service may receive ordinary request information and apply its own privacy terms when you use it.
Disclosure and sale
Visit records, including approximate location results, are available only to authorized Digital Missions Media staff. They are not sold, and they are not provided to Anchor Baptist Church or site visitors. Information may still be handled by hosting, email, location, security, and other service providers that are needed to run the site, or disclosed when required by law.
Retention and security
Detailed visit records are retained with the site's account history while they are reasonably needed to review the demonstration, analyze traffic internally, maintain security, and resolve disputes. Form submissions on a live site are retained while needed to respond and keep appropriate business records. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Blocking JavaScript prevents the browser-generated fingerprint and visit beacon, although the web server still receives the IP address and request information needed to return the page. Depending on where you live, you may also ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or object to certain uses.
Contact
Send privacy questions or requests to hello@m.digitalmissionsmedia.org.
